Liphook footpath No 7
- Jeff Evans (2nd Feb 2019 - 19:02:40)
I note that the temporary suspension for 6 months part of the above footpath was granted from the 14th August 2018. I trust that all is in hand for it to be re-opened on the 14th of February. It used to be in daily use by myself and other walkers who can't wait to resume using it as it avoids the use of Longmoor Road.

Can’t wait for this footpath to reopen. The closure has been very inconvenient. I do hope the contractors are obliged to reinstate the path in good condition for us walkers and not leave a muddy quagmire.

I too have found this closure extremely inconvenient having used the footpath for over thirty years. However that part of the site seems to be in absolute chaos still so I see little hope of it opening again in February, no doubt the developers will request yet a further extension to the closure.

In recent years, even before the building works began it was never the prettiest of walks and always very noisy.
