Annoying Power Cuts!!

Does anyone know why we keep getting these power cuts that last just a minute or so, but mean I have to re-set all my clocks grrrrrrrrrr

We live in a village surrounded by woodland very nice too!
There are three power feeds into the Village and they run through the aforementioned wood land!
When a stray bit of tree causes a short on the power line it trips out the supply which is automaticly reset after a short time, and if the short no longer exists the power stays on hence the annoying short power cut!
