Jack russell terrier cross puppy 7/8 months free
- maxine ferguson (17th Mar 2011 - 09:41:31)
FREE TO A GOOD HOME
Hi i have a 7/8 month old jack russell cross puppy called Marley.
Long haired-brown/tan with a white mohican. He is fully house trained, vaccinated and micro chipped.
Lovely dog - brilliant guard dog! loves to lay around and snooze!
Is not keen on young children which is why i am having to rehome him (I have a 1yr old and a 4yr old), so would therefore ideally be suited to an elderly couple or someone with teenagers.
He needs to be collected today as my partner is away at the moment and does not want to be here when he goes.

I hope you don't mind me saying, but I'm rather concerned with your advert...
If you feel you can't keep your puppy any longer, really the best way forward is to contact a dog rescue site... Rescue Remedies have some local kennels I think... and there are many more in our area.
I know you have your reasons, but the time frame is very short, wishing to find a suitable home today... not everyone who approaches you, if anyone at such short notice, will have a suitable home for your dog and I'm sure you wouldn't like him to fall into the wrong hands.
What are you planning to do, if you can't find him a home today?
Please, please do the right thing for your dog - it sounds like he's been loved and a valuable member of your family so far... and I'm sure you'd like to do the right thing by him and find him a family to continue loving him.
If you'd like any help, please contact the editor and he'll pass my email details to you.
Thank you.
Miranda

Just so you know, a friend of mine has taken him. she has two other dogs and can provide a loving home. i would not have just given him to anyone without checking their home etc first-however he had started snapping at my children and growling.
He had been doing it for a while and had got worse and worse to the point where he would go for them if they even walked passed him. my children are 1yr and 4yrs of age.
As much i loved him. He is a dog. My children take priority over any animal and if he one day ripped my children to shreds im sure you would all be very quick to say how much of a bad mother i was to keep a dog that had been showing signs of aggressive behaviour towards my children. So yes. I needed to re home him quickly.
And before assuming that i had not already tried other methods of re homing him-i had in fact called round the local rescue centres and they were all FULL.
