Much less traffic when private schools on holiday - S.W. (19th Dec 2018 - 23:03:44)
Has anyone else noticed how much better the traffic is passing through Liphook around 8-8.15am when the local private schools are on holiday. It’s almost easy!
A hefty bulk of the usual traffic must be for Churcher’s Juniors and Highfield/Brookham - with 600 day pupils between them, that’s a lot of cars heading through Liphook in the morning.
I’m not complaining about anyone - it’s just interesting the difference it makes.

Pretty congested and aggressive on the roundabouts today, and not a public school boy in sight!

You’re only on your holidays if you didn’t fly from Gatwick in the last 24 hours. I feel for those affected by the chaos there.
But Merry Christmas to the Chelsea tractor driving local! 😂

I take back my comments about traffic been easier - this morning roundabouts blocked by cars pulling across with no exit - aggressive driver turning right out of Midhurst Road nearly causing accident - Oh well probably been fighting for a Turkey in Sainsbury's. Happy holidays everyone!
