Highfield lane speed limits

Just curious whats the speed limit down this road chaos there tonight and there is a school just never seen any official signs there or ever a police speed camera.
Is it really national or is it the normal 30 you would see by a school?

Highfield Lane is a derestricted road where the national speed limit applies, which on that type of road is 60mph.
60mph is the maximum speed permissible and drivers should all drive at a safe speed for the conditions and road layout.
Although you don't actually say you are a driver the impression I get from your post is that you are a driver who was driving along the road at the time. To be honest it's a little scary that you were driving on a road and didn't actually know what the speed limit was!
