carnival night beer tent
- lazy lizard (26th Oct 2018 - 21:54:56)

Hi all, we are having a hog roast and beer tent outside our shop for carnival night selling; mulled wine, mulled gin and other alcoholic drinks will be available. It will be set up outside The Lazy Lizard in the square. Hot drinks will be available inside the shop ready for all the lovely people coming to see another spectacular carnival and firework display. We hope you all have a fun night from all the team @ The Lazy Lizard .

Do you not need a licence for this ?

There is always one...
I presume that they do have a license, and why would anyone suppose differently? What is wrong with putting your happy hat on? Lighten up. What difference will it make to your life if a local business supplies a nip of gin? I, for one will be in the queue getting me a gin fill and a bit of pork!

Hi Baz.

Yes you do indeed. We have had one for some time and thought we would make use of it tonight.

Excellent idea it all adds to the carnival atmosphere. With The Anchor closed I'm sure the crowds will be delighted. Hopefully other local businesses have planned to take advantage of the opportunity to offer a service and boost the coffers. I'm sure you'll be in for a busy night!

Nice too see local shops helping out maybe no more fast food wagons the village working together this one night of the year
Bring back the village community feel

Hopefully Baz had a great night smoking his pipe with that quite categorically stuck right in it !

Nice moves Lily.

Chilly Weekend, Finchie
