Road closures?

Does anyone know why there are road closure diversions Haslemere road etc?

The Road Closure of the Haslemere Road has been advertised now with yellow signs for at least two weeks, the closure is just today. Possibly re-surfacing the broken up road on the first bend after the bridge?

Hopefully they're resurfacing the whole road between here and Haslemere. But in reality they're probably just throwing gravel at the pot holes.

Road repairs.I followed diversion sign at Mill roundabout. Route was via Midhurst!! I had planned to go via Hindhead but thought the council had a better route. Not amused
