Iron hill carpark - Margaret (21st Sep 2018 - 17:53:38) A word of warning re parking in the Iron Hill carpark on the Midhurst Rd. I had my car window smashed there a couple of months ago and when I was there this morning it had happened to someone else. Lovely to walk there but not if you're wondering what's happening to your car!

Stole my handbag which was out of sight, took my 5 year old childs purse which he loved, it had been handed down from his elder brothers, broke side window ransacked the car did some damage. A very kind person found purse and came stright away to our home i was still at iron hill so thank you so much to that person he didnt leave his name or address if you know who you are I would like to thank you personally. I understand there are many car incidents in liphook of late. In my case the police said they could'nt help even though there were shoe print marks inside and outside and finger prints no doubt all over the place Of course these people know this, break into cars opportunistically and know it its not followed up.

I thought it had been left there overnight, I must have just missed the thief by minutes. My apologies for not picking up everything and not sticking around, I was very late for work. Since everything else has now been picked up I assume you found the location. No thanks required. I am sure you would do the same.

A wildliife camera placed in a strategic place to catch fly tipping / caravan burning Johns may also catch thieves in the act. Or maybe already has done...
