I wanted to put out the feelers to see if there would be any interest from local kids (aged 8 plus ) and adults. If we were to put on a 45 minute steel pan workshop on Saturday 27th October at Bohunt School? This would be run by the wonderful Pan Nation who are the steel band who played at last years carnival and we’re pleased to have them coming back to perform again this year ! There will be a cost involved as we would need to hire one of the halls at Bohunt but depending on numbers of people interested we would hope to price it at around £5 a person. Brilliant we have 7 interested so far so if we can get a few more to make the hall hire worthwhile I will let you know ! Do you have telephone number / email I can reach you on?
It will be in the afternoon and likely to be around 2/3pm for a 45 min session .
We have had a good response so far and we will have space for 16 people so will look to run this workshop if you are able

I am pleased to say we’ve had a good amount of interest from people keen to give steel pan a try ! so we have arranged a steel pan work shop on Saturday 27th October at 3pm at the Multi purpose hall at Bohunt School .
Tickets will be £8 a person and are available to purchase from the beauti pod at Liphook station (next door to the old countrywide building)
Spaces are limited so please do come along and reserve your tickets and we look forward to seeing you at the Steel pan workshop :)

So pleased it’s been popular but I know that there were many more people interested so we have arranged to add on an additional workshop at 2.15pm ... we only have 11 tickets left though though to sell for this one so if you haven’t already got your tickets today then please do pop into the beauti pod in liphook to purchase your tickets.. I think these will go fast and unfortunately we really can only run a maximum of two workshops on carnival afternoon due to time constraints and the band playing later in the carnival and we’d love to have all those who have shown interest in attending to be able to come along !
