number 13 bus & getting in to Liphook
- Dawn Hoskins (11th Sep 2018 - 17:51:23)
Hi
Unless quite a lot has changed in the last couple of years, the number 13 does not allow you to get into Liphook for 9am without a significant amount of hanging about.
Can anyone tell me if this situation has improved for the infants, juniors and Bohunt?
My lads could never get the bus to school as they either arrived 5 minutes late every day or 55minutes early.
I'm looking at the proposed housing in Passfield and wondering if the incoming youngsters will be able to use the bus and get to school on time.

Maybe no one catches the bus?

Maybe residents of Liphook think new homes in Passfield will be a good idea, regardless of bus services

The reasons the estate in Passfield got refused at the last application
are still valid. However Passfield has always been quite remote from the facilities of LIphook and Bordon, so even when the Lynchborough Road
Estate was built the prospective purchasers realised that they were not in a town centre location surely and planned accordingly? The more pavements streetlights etc the more urban it would become, and I cannot
see that the National Trust who own swathes of land around, including where any pavement might go, to get into liphook, would be willing to just turn it into something other than it is now.I expect before the houses were allowed to be situated off the Hollywater Road there was some opposition? Was countryside built on to build the Lynchborough Estate?
