Shed roofing

We need to get our garden shed re-felted or re-roofed or whatever it's called. Don't know who to call and would really appreciate recommendations. Thank you

Deirdre, avoid sounding too clueless with tradesmen, in my experience you often pay a little more for that! I think it's re-felting. Depending on the roof size and if the wood underneath is not rotted, should be a very simple job. Piece of felt, cut to size a nailed on. We have used Wiggins who advertises on here for small roof maintenance jobs and found him good and reliable.

I too would recommend Tim Wiggins.
It may be worth considering using EPDM instead of felt as it has a much longer life. This ls a single layer of synthetic rubber that is bonded to the roof. Kits are widely available from DIY shops, etc. It does depend, however, on having a completely dry surface for bonding.
