Vicious dog at Bramshott Common
- Dog owner (28th Aug 2018 - 11:05:47)

I was walking my dogs this morning at Bramshott Common and my dogs were chased by a very nasty white short haired muscular dog (some sort of cross) who was muzzled. The owner put the dog on a lead as I passed but then very quickly let the dog back off lead at which point it chased my dogs and knocked me to the ground in the process, cutting my hands and hurting my back.

The owner approached and I shouted at him as I was getting off the ground, to call his dog off but he completely ignored me. I shouted again to get his dog under control as it was still after my dogs but no reaction whatsoever.

The owner was walking with a lady and they had at least 5 dogs between them.

Other than the muzzled white dog, they had a viszla, two black labs, a light coloured cockapoo or similar and a brown and white tallish spaniel type dog. The poor viszla ran away from them and I spotted it about 20 minutes later running down the road away from the common but I couldn't catch it.

I am very concerned that this man had no control over a dangerous dog and will be reporting this incident to the police.

However, I am worried that these people are dog walkers/dog sitters and these dogs may belong to someone else who may not realise the appalling control these people have over their pets.

The man is probably is late 30s/40s with bleached blonde short hair wearing a grey hoodie and jeans, and the woman has brown longish hair (didn't pay much attention to her).

I also have a note of all the car number plates that were in the car park and in the layby when I returned which I will be giving to the police. This happened about 10.15am today.

If anyone can identify these people please get in touch 07736 682182.

Many thanks

How frightening, for you, I hope you and your dog are fine, sorry I don't recognise their description, don't go up to Bramshott common, and probably won't now after reading this. Definitely report to police

These could possibly be the dogs from the house on the London Rd that we keep hear barking. Did someone say they also had a kennels there?
