The NDP needs you! - NDP Steering Group (20th Aug 2018 - 22:31:17) The Neighbourhood Development Plan is actively recruiting members for its Working Parties. It is vital that the plan represents the entire community and we therefore need a wide range of people from all over the Parish (which includes Conford, Passfield, Liphook and Bramshott). Re: The NDP needs you! - Paul (22nd Aug 2018 - 09:59:54) I've just read the Interim NDP Report. Can I ask a genuine question please? The Interim Report describes many ambitions for the area. They are all sensible - e.g. Bohunt students would like wider footpaths and better road crossings for safety, local retail business should be promoted. All good points. But can I ask what has actually been achieved by the NDP? Would it be possible to produce something like a 'You said, we did' report to highlight tangible's actually delivered against ambitions? Apologies if I've missed anything on the PC website or elsewhere that actually shows what the NDP has delivered in the past - happy to be pointed in the right direction.

Re: The NDP needs you! - helen (22nd Aug 2018 - 15:29:15) The NDP is essentially about writing a set of policies for the developers to use as a guide to what to include in their future housing applications, eg the completed NDP will result in 10 per cent more cash for infastructure to be built alongside the housing, than if the area does not have an NDP. The developer will know what the community have asked for in return for their houses getting permission. NDPs came in with the localism act and essentially supposedly give us some control over where new houses might be built.
