Cleaner
- Doreen (21st Feb 2011 - 13:15:29)

Does anyone employ, or know about, an independant cleaner who would like a few extra well-paid hours in Hollycombe Close? NOT a cleaning company though please. Many thanks - in anticipation of a nice clean house!
Oh, and if you know a regular window cleaning person they would probably be a good idea too ...!

Hi Doreen,

I am an independant cleaner, and I just take on jobs for myself. I do have a few hours spare on a weekly basis.

Please feel free to contact me - my details are on www.justaskjana.com

Regards,

Jana

Not sure about a house cleaner, but for window cleaning I recommend Russell Ayres who is based in Liphook. His number is 07583 234270.

He uses the 'pole system' and I am really pleased with the way my windows look since he has been cleaning them, they are so sparkling clean, the glass is almost invisible.

The information in the leaflet he gives to customers explains how the system works. Basically water is filtered to a laboratory standard of purity and pumped from tanks in his van through a telescopic pole to clean the windows. The pure water acts as a magnet for dirt and when it dries, it leaves a spotless,streak-free and smear-free finish.

Traditional window cleaning techniques involve the use of chemicals and detergents which leave behind a residue which attracts dirt so the glass doesn’t stay clean for long, whereas with the pure water system, the windows stay sparkling for longer, and I've seen that for myself.

Also I like the fact that the use of a telescopic pole means that no dangerous ladders are needed and flower beds are not disturbed, plus my privacy is maintained as the cleaning is done from a distance.

One useful advantage is that the window frames are cleaned at the same time as the windows and the sterile water discourages the growth of mould and algae. It's also great that previously inaccessible windows can be cleaned, plus to cap it all, it's environmentally friendly.

I am finding it difficult to find a cleaner [not a cleaning company] that will come to Passfield.

If anyone has the details of a local (Passfield) cleaner please can they let me know.

Many thanks

hi, do be careful in employing cleaners. I had a cleaner woman called [removed] she was a good cleaner but she stole all my money and alcohol.. get references before you let them in.

The police were involved but it was too late - spoilt my christmas, so beware, do not be fooled like i was....
