Abandoned Car - Dave (9th Aug 2018 - 12:38:03) Hi Do you know the owner of a Black BMW registration number S27 SHA. Abandoned in the car park of Liphook Social Club 4 Headley Road. Please ring 01428 722711. If we cannot trace the owner (no we are not going to pay to find them), the vehicle will be disposed of. No tax No MOT No insurance, just dumped. Thank you Dave Secretary

Re: Abandoned Car - Paul Robinson (9th Aug 2018 - 14:43:09) Sorry to hear this. I gave the same advice to someone in the Midhurst Road last week about a car that appeared to be abandoned. They phoned 101 and reported this and the Police traced the car to a car rental company in the Midlands and subsequently organised a low loader to take the car away. The owner of the car returned from a day in London and had to trace the car through the police and pay for the cost of removal. Paul Robinson

Re: Abandoned Car - Jay W (9th Aug 2018 - 18:05:39) DVLA website shows car declared as SORN - so can't use on public highway. Just a £2.50 fee to get the details from DVLA.
