RE: Dog Training Venue
- Karen (6th Aug 2018 - 08:56:09)

Hi all if anyone can help it would be so appreciated. I am looking for an outdoor venue to run my dog training business to start with twice a week. Evening class and weekend class. Looking for an enclosed field doesn't have to be huge or somewhere that I can fence off with portable fencing whilst running the class. If anyone knows of anywhere or anyone who would be prepared to offer their ground please could you contact me. Email karen.wilson48@btinternet.com. Thanks so much

Have you tried Firhill?

Field at the back of the Methodist church in Standford is a nice spot, rarely used, Ron runs it (the guy who does the table top sales) loos and a kitchen as well.

Thanks guys for your reply. Already in contact with Iain at Firhill so thanks for that but haven't tried Stanford and will do so. Very much appreciated :-)

Oh yes, the field behind the Methodist hall would be great!

There is also a field next to the Stanford church (now owned by the Brethren) but I'm not sure iif it is fenced off? The field further down on the corner is definitely gated as I've taken Freya in there before to do training. It's empty all the time it seems.

Maybe you could post on here when you're up and running? I'd love to bring my young dogs along. Good luck to you!

I could offer a disused tennis court. If you wish to discuss, please let me know

Karen - it is called the Gospel Church actually, not the Methodist (the one I'm thinking about anyway). It's on the main road on the left before you get to the Robin Hood (Whiteleys).

Thank you for all your suggestions I am currently in contact with some of those and Michelle your tennis court could prove very useful and will be in contact. I will of course post when I am up and running, so much to get sorted and appreciate all your help? Karen
