Memories
- Linda Moorey Teasdale (30th Jul 2018 - 16:01:53)
Hi I grew up in Liphook, left when I was 9 after my parents split up, we lived at 25 Admers Crescent, we lived next door to the Edwards, think it was( Mina, ( the Mum) then Sonja and Glenys ( the daughters,) my mum used to work at Long moor army camp, my Nanna and Grandad lived on the Kings Road Haslemere (Parmenter), my Aunty Sue lived on Gunn’s Farm, don’t know if it’s possible to be home sick at 56yrs old, I know things have changed, I have been ‘home’ a few times to show my husband where I used to live, how I wish I could come back, doubt I’ll ever be able to tho, but love just reading ‘Liphook stuff’ remember so much stuff, like dad taking us to Frensham Ponds, and to Petersfield, we also used to go to the Sun Pub ( think that was in petersfield), got our first bikes from the Rayleigh bike shop in Godalming, so many memories, Dads dead now and Mum poorly with Dementia, she talks about the past, brings back memories, if anyone knew us and wants to get in touch, please feel free 😊

There is a Facebook group called "Liphook Nostalgia". You might like to try posting your message there as well.
