Plant pot
- Meg (11th Jul 2018 - 22:04:12)

After some advice...

I recently smashed my friends favourite plant pot. She’s acting like she doesn’t really care but I know deep down it was. I feel like it’s sentimental as if offered to replace it but she went all Beyoncé on me and told me it was irreplaceable! HELP I’ve already lost a plant pot, don’t want to loose a friend too!!!

I would let her cool off for a while then send her a nice card to say sorry.

Was it a particular pattern - might be worth having a look in the charity shops to see if any one has same - then wait a while & surprise her with it. Just a thought!!

Whilst your friend might be a little sad about the pot, I would think the friendship is worth more that a pot.

Perhaps buy a new one, as close to the broken one as possible, with a nice plant in it, (perhaps a olive, with a branch), I am sure everything will be fine, if not, the friendship isn't worth it

Can’t believe you’ve broken the plant pot, how careless of you! Think you owe her more than a pot..

I’ve heard the Green Dragon do lovely thai fish cakes maybe you could take her there as an apology.
