Just a word of thanks to female member of staff who helped my girlfriend and I on Saturday afternoon in store when the fire alarm sounded.my partner has ms and needs a shopping trolley to walk when the alarm sounded we were all told to leave our trollys and make our way to the exit we managed to take our shopping right up the shop with out being trampled on but had to leave it by the door. At which point this member of staff took her arm and helped me get her to the car . So thank you very much.
I was one of the other colleges there at that time. The member of staff you are referring to is a friend of mine who works on grocery called Sue. She is the kindest person I know. Could Maybe the next time you are in our store ask for our duty manager and explain how she helped you and your girlfriend at a very manic time, as this will lead to Sue being thanked by the business themselves as we have a special scheme for this very situation.
Many thanks from one of Sue's friends.
Ps I will also tell her about your post as she does not go on the internet much.

If it's the same Sue who usually works on the self-service checkout, I am not surprised to hear how she helped out. She is a lovely woman who is a real credit to the store.

Well done to the member of staff for going the extra mile and how nice to see someone taking the time to say "thank you".
Simple acts of kindness and praise go a long way and don't cost anything but time.
