Hello Kerri, Thanks for your response.

There is no age limit for membership of the W.I. - either upper or lower! Our youngest member is a mother of two toddlers, although some of us are older!

The membership fee is £30 per year; the year has just started so to join now would be a financial advantage. We welcome visitors at a charge of £3 per meeting. Membership includes our monthly meetings and membership of our interest groups, e.g. skittles, craft, Scrabble, lunch club and playreading.

We also have a programme of visits: this year our main visit is to The House of Commons for tea with our MP, but we have a wide ranging list of venues.

We don't usually sing Jerusalem, but some of us make jam and the most delicious cakes - available at some of our coffee mornings.

I hope I've whetted your appetite and that you'll give us a try. Our next meeting is on 16th. March, in the Village Hall at 7.30 and the talk is "A Surrey Safari" which should be good. Perhaps we'll see you there?

Gwenda
