Hi Everyone
I have had some questions about what materials to bring along, and if any will be available. I will have on sale, quality art materials that are a good starter pack so all you need to do is turn up. However, please let me know if you are planning to come and want materials so I can ensure I have enough.
If you want to bring your own, that is great. Please do feel free to contact me so I can advise you on what to bring.
Thanks Rob

This look really interesting but I have never tried painting before. Is painting with oils harder than watercolours?

Will you be running courses anywhere else? I would love to come but am not local to the area. Alton or Farnham would be great!

Hi Jackie
The class is for complete beginners as well as people who want to return to painting, so it would suit you and help you get started.
As to whether it is more difficult than watercolour is an interesting one, with oils you do not have to rely on your drawing skills as much, as you can rework the piece until your happy with the result. Another positive aspect is you are able to work on a piece over a longer period of time adding more detail as you go without affecting any other areas.
I hope this helps
Feel free to come along and have a look and then you can decide if it is something you would like to do?
All the best
Rob
