Parish Council Meeting Minutes
- liz (13th Feb 2011 - 17:58:57)

Perhaps someone on the Council would be kind enough to tell me why the minutes of the 31 January meeting appear to be listed on the PC site but are not accessable two weeks later?

Minutes are now available as are the Exempt Session of 7th February regarding the proposed transfer of land for allotments.
Pleased to note that the minutes are being referred to.

With reference to the minutes of the Exempt Session 7th February regarding the proposed transfer of land for allotments I note the transfer was 'not agreed'. Does this mean it will not happen at all or that further negotiations will take place in the future?

I will be writing into the Parish Office to object to the minutes as published.

I asked very pertinent questions and got crap or 'no' answers. I think the good people of Liphook should be able to read them and see the type of people who are advising our Parish Council and what level of poor service they are paying for.

The minutes should publish everything, not just snippets!!

Interesting.. Council minutes can be published as UNSIGNED
subject to checking by the clerk and the chairman.
This was a practice that was adopted by a parish council in devon . it helped the electorate to get information within days (normally 5)As i served on this council and having discussed it with our district councillor we all agreed that information regarding ALL matters within the Parish should be displayed on the Notice board marked As Unsigned subject to approval of the whole council.
No complaints Happy people .
Why? They couild then discuss what they had read with their local rep and make suggestions that were than raised at the next meeting( i will not make any comments about this council as i have not been in residence here very long only to say to them get a grip and get out and talk to the electorate and stop hiding behind your door till you want to be reelected and the next election I avent met one let alone know who they are. )
