Gas Cooker Igniter clicking

I have a gas hob that is clicking its igniter...apparently they fail. Recommendations as to who can fix it please?

Ours did that when I got it wet around the knobs while cleaning it. I switched off the power for 24 hours to let it dry out and it was fine again after that.

Thanks for the trip about it drying out...I tried that
