This problem is regularly posted on Liphook Talkback.

I suggest you give up and install a freesat dish and box instead- we've had no problems since then

Good for you Mike T - But unfortunately ***** big trees at rear of property prevents me from getting a sattelite signal - hence my change to Freeview - the trees are on someone elses land & although have asked nicely - they won't do anything about it - used to have SKY but lost signal totally about 3 years ago 1 Christmas. I have spoken to at800 yesterday just in case it is 4G signal interference - will post a message if this works to help others. Last night still had problems!

If you are struggling with freeview please give me a call and just because sky says you can’t get signal doesn’t always mean it’s true, I have installed satellites in many places where sky have said it’s not possible.

Thanks Robbie will consider that, but was a Sky user for over 10 years but as trees grew & grew gradually more break up until eventually lost signal as I say unhappily 1 Christmas no signal at all - Dare I say Sky were very unhelpful but kept calling me to ask why I cancelled - for about 2 years after. I will keep your details on file.
