Rescue Remedies (dog rescue) Fun Day - Claire (10th Feb 2011 - 08:28:55) Date for your diary! On the 7th May 2011 Rescue Remedies dog rescue charity will be holding a fund raising funday in the grounds of Bohunt Manor from 11am - 3pm There will be a novelty dog show (classes to be confirmed) kindly sponsored by ADP Security, an art competition for a range of ages to be judged on the day, lots of children's activities including pony rides, beat the goalie & face painting etc. Cake stall & cream teas on the lawn , raffle , tombola and many many more. There will be music, BBQ and beer (AKA the man creche!!) Everyone will be very very welcome. We are most grateful to Bohunt Manor for donating the use of their grounds and to ADP for agreeing to sponsor the dog show. We need more sponsors ...... don't be shy! We have a limited number of pitches available for individuals at rent at a reasonable rate. Please contact Karen Brooke at karen@rescueremedies.co.uk for more information. If we have any singers/dancers/spoon players/magicians who would like to donate some time to our entertainment schedule please contact me at claireg@absolutehrservices.co.uk (I thought the community singing group could step into the limelight and I know we have an abundance of musical talent at Bohunt School ) I will update as details are finalised . Rowan Deli - Petersfield have donated a case of 'doggy beer' called 'Paddy & Jack's .... how perfect is that! On behalf of our dogs waiting patiently in kennels for their homes THANK YOU!

CARPETBAGGERS have donated a sumptuous sheepskin rug as a raffle prize (i soooooo want to win it!!) We have also finalised categories for the fun dog show : Dog with the waggiest tail Most handsome dog Prettiest bitch Dog the judge would most like to take home Dog with the best trick Best fancy dress Best rescue dog Best young dog (1yr and under) Best veteran dog (over 10yrs) Best young handler (under 10yrs old) Best in show get primping, preening and training!! Re: Rescue Remedies (dog rescue) Fun Day - claire (11th Apr 2011 - 18:04:48) We have our FUNDAY website up and running ..... please take a look!! www.rescueremediesfunday.co.uk Any children wishing to submit a picture for the art competition should draw/paint/collage/whatever their 'favorite animal' (no larger than A4 size) and submit it with their age and contact details to rescue remedies art competition, 22 London Road Liphook Hants GU30 7AN There are 3 age groups, 6 and under , 7 - 10 (these ages are 'my favourite animal) and 11+ this age group is just entitled 'Animal ' so it can be an interpretation to give more scope, any medium is acceptable. Art Work will frame the winning entry from each age group and display them in their window for a week before it is returned to the artist!

For those of you who have never been in the grounds of Bohunt Manor it is a lovely opportunity to see this 'little oasis' in our midst. Lots to do and see for all ages.

I would like to enter our wonderful resue dog Lucy (great fun but odd looking!) but cannot be there for whole day, chores to do. Thank you Thank you Thank you ..............it was lovely that many people said they had read about the Fun Day on Talkback :)
