Taxi to Gatwick - Mary W (4th Feb 2011 - 17:55:20) Can anyone suggest a taxi or car hire firm (who don't charge an arm and a leg) to get us to and from Gatwick? Our luggage is going to be too unwieldy to go by train, our normal method of travel. Car parking at Valet parking at Gatwick is really no longer affordable.

They present a list of of different parking firms and you get a discount if you are an AA member. No doubt other motoring organizations do the same. The independent firms are much cheaper than Gatwick's own service.
