haslemere herald

This week's Liphook Herald has a very interesting article on page 3 headlined "Doctor's new 0870 number is raising some patients' temperatures". The content is entirely culled from Talkback!

Good to know the Herald's stringers are out there on the streets digging up the latest happenings. Or sitting at their desks copying out others' hard work ......?

At this rate, at least we'll be able to save 50p a week!

Any other stories anyone wants to start?

Rob.

Just to confirm the Herald asked for permission to write an article based upon what was said here, and we put them in touch with one of the posters on the thread as well, whos comments I understand appeared in the article.

Please keep posting issues that are affecting you in Liphook, as quite clearly the local press are taking notice!

Thanks

It is nice to see a new spirit of co-operation in the media between the web and print ! Both mediums are equally valuable and so long as the Liphook Herald is adding some sort of value - not just plagairising (sp?) - More of it. News Print will always survive - blokes have to do something on the loo !

I'm still trying to figure out whether more people read this site than the Herald ?

Mr Liphook.co.uk Editor: Any chance you are able to tell how many people read the threads (some sites actually show how many people have read posts
e.g. http://www.nass.co.uk/forum/default.asp Click on one of the threads).

Cheers, Finchie
