Dog Kennels - SC (22nd Apr 2018 - 20:05:13) Good evening. Looking for kennel accommodation for our 2 dogs for a week in August in the Liphook area. Any recommendations welcome. Many thanks

Re: Dog Kennels - Dawn Hoskins (23rd Apr 2018 - 09:08:31) There aren't any local kennels but there is one in Frensham, Godalming and I think Alton still has one. recommend going to visit each one (they should be happy to show you around) and specifically ask how much exercise your dog will get. Many kennels just turf the dog out for 10 minutes whilst they clean the run and that is considered their exercise! I always use Steve Cain, but as he is so good and has such an outstanding reputation as a trainer, he gets booked up WAAYYYYY in advance. Check out his website www.allsortsk9.co.uk Other options are local people who walk and board. Sue is a well trusted local who cares for all types of animal, but I'm not sure if she boards? It's a good way to check in advance whether your dog likes theirs and if they have any sort of control over their animals. Good luck - it is a very upsetting time when you have to leave your dogs with anyone - so it has to be right otherwise you will worry whilst you are away.
