sky broadband - Daniel (17th Jan 2011 - 22:18:42) Am thinking of changing broadband suppliers from BT to Sky. Sky are quite a bit cheaper but not sure on speeds etc. Does anyone in liphook use sky and what are they like?

Re: sky broadband - Ian C (18th Jan 2011 - 16:00:10) We changed from BT (telephone) to Sky about 18months ago and took up a Sky broadband option at the same time. The transition was seamless and although I can't speak for everyone, we have never had a single problem. Definitely cheaper than BT. Watch out for your BT bills if you do change - we had nothing but grief trying to get back money owed to us, which took a few weeks and several irate phone calls to their inept call centre to resolve in our favour.

Re: sky broadband - Helen K (19th Jan 2011 - 09:30:19) We changed to Sky just before Christmas and I would agree that it all went very smoothly and the Broadband speeds are much better than we were getting before with Pipex. Sky also enable you to monitor your Broadband speeds on-line, or you can call them and our experience with customer service has been very good too (which is pretty unusual too!)
