Can anyone recommend a good nursery?
- Marie (4th Jan 2011 - 14:14:18)

We recently moved to Haslemere and I would like to find a good nursery for my 15 month old, in the Haslemere/ Liphook area.

Eventually we have Brookham/ Highfield in mind for her but where do people take their little ones before they're old enough (3 years) for Brookham?

Many Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Hi! My 14 month old goes to Caring Daycare off Woolmer hill in Haslemere, and it is a very good nursery.
My older son is 4 and he is at Amesbury School in Hindhead, where they take children from age 2.

I have also heard Caring Daycare is good along with Toad Hall in Haslemere. I have heard mixed reviews about Timbers, also in Haslemere. There are nursery's in Liphook but they do not run extended hours - all have good reputations. So it depends if you want just a few mornings a week or longer periods of care. My son is also at Amesbury. Well worth visiting quite a few and getting a feel for the places. I would recommend going back a few times to any you like, taking your little one with you on the second visit.

I can really recommend Milland nursery and know of several families who have gone on from there to Brookham. It has a wonderful atmosphere and ethos, truly fantastic staff and a beautiful setting.
