Clipboard folk

Does anyone know what the people are doing in Liphook wearing high viz jackets and carrying clipboards ? Seen today in The Avenue and yesterday on the Longmoor Road.

They are from the council doing a traffic survey in different areas of the village.

They were around yesterday too in the village, thought maybe they were monitoring the traffic flow. Another thing I’ve noticed is a camera at the entry to the slip road to get onto the A3 at Griggs Green southbound.

They were counting cars. I asked them.

I think you will find that they are part of the comprehensive traffic survey commissioned as part of the Neighbourhood Development Plan.
And not before time!
