Liphook Scouts Christmas Post
- Liphook Scouts (6th Dec 2010 - 13:54:05)
Liphook Scouts are once again operating a Christmas card postal service in the Liphook, Bramshott, Passfield and Conford area.
Post boxes will be in the locations listed below until Saturday 18th December 2010 (noon)...
Sainsburys
Co-op
Gables News
Route 6 Hairdressers
Countrywide Stores
Hiscocks Pet Supplies
The Passfield Store
The cost to use the service is still just 20p a card. Please drop the money into a collection box with your cards and we will stamp the cards for you. Alternatively you can purchase stamps from Gables News.
Thanks to the shops and everyone who uses the service for the support!

A reminder that the final collection for this year's Scout Christmas Post is 12pm (noon) this Saturday 18th in the shops, and 2pm at the Scout HQ (left hand side of the Millenium Centre).
Thanks to everyone who has already posted their cards!
We are now preparing our coats, gloves and hats (and maybe skiis!) so we begin delivering.

Thank you very much for delivering all my local cards for me - especially in the horrid weather conditions!
I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas

I understand it takes a lot of time to collect, sort and distribute the post! We had ours in good time for Christmas so thank you very much!

Thanks for the nice feedback Jill and Rhys.
This year the weather conditions were quite adverse (especially delivering to the icy outskirts of Bramshott, Passfield and the Wheatsheaf Estate) but we're pleased to announce we still managed to deliver all 2,800+ cards before Christmas. A big thank you to the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and their parents who helped!
We'd also like to thank Gables News; Sainsburys; Co-op; Route 6; Countrywide; Hiscocks; The Passfield Store and The Deer's Hut for their support.
A big thank you to everyone who used the postal service too - we managed to raise just over £600 this year.
We'll be doing it again this December 2011, although hopefully without the snow!
