Hi 'Kebabers'
We are in need of help of Liphook locals.
We are currently in Search for a overnight parking space for the Kebab and Burger van located on Portsmouth Road lay-by. We were using Anchor Pub parking, however due to new parking camera system, we have been informed to find a new location.
Wr are looking for a space to park between 2330 till 1630 the next day. If anyone knows or owns such a place please email or call me on 07817967489

Maybe he lives on the Berg Estate - I don't think they'd like it parked even on a drive - Good Luck with your request by the way -at least you are trying to find somewhere with permission to park your van - good on you for being responsible

Park it on the Midhurst Road Spur Road, at least it will take up a space - will stop a vehicle parking there that uses the railway station!

The problem not mentioned is that the van is full of hot oil so can’t be driven very fast at least I think that’s the problem as when they close up they drive it very very slowly to park it nearby.

Might be an idea for them to move back into the premises on the London Road. I know they will have to start paying business rates again but......

Maybe my comment about the Donor Kebab - Burger van owner being responsible was a little premature - looks like taking up residence in layby 24 hours now -as still there this morning! Still good luck sent to find parking soon. Maybe parking long term ,should have been considered in the Business Plan & long term costings when setting up & not left to chance.
Try the Passfield Business Centre in Lynchborough road at Passfield.
Ignore the other comments as as you said in post you were asking for help and advice.

the problem with the Passfield Business Centre is it has restricted hours for traffic movements as the entrance/exit faces residential houses. I don't think they are allowed to drive in and out after 6:30pm (or something like that).
They'll need to find a private landowner that doesn't mind a big ugly vehicle on their land (maybe offer them free kebabs for life!)

The layby opposite Radford Park? Not sure how secure it would be tho.
Commercial vehicles are not meant to park overnight on the so called lay by road opposite Radford Park. Certainly would not be that secure for a van full of Kababs combined with a local drug dealer / boy racer hotspot :)

If you are going to park the van 24/7 in the lay-by (which you are doing) why not serve food 24/7?

Have you approached Bramshott Club, they have a large Car Park and are always publishing their activities to support the local community.
It would be good to see them support a well established local business.
