Contemporary Crafts. Milland Village Hall
- Angela Carter (6th Nov 2017 - 09:39:20)

18th &19th November from 10am to 4pm each day.

This popular annual event showcasing local contemporary crafts will be held in Milland Village Hall.

This is an opportunity to Meet the Makers, find out more about their creative processes and choose that unique Christmas gift or treat yourself. Amongst the range of crafts on show will be jewellery, ceramics, textiles, cards, wood, sculpture and more. This year we will be welcoming several new makers, including Hampshire artist Lorna Jones whose stunning textiles have rightly earned her the title "Goddess of Fibre Alchemy" and Anna Moller who creates unique abstract artworks from intricately sourced dried nature from around Sussex.

As always, refreshments including light lunches will be available throughout the two days with donations to Samaritans (www.samaritans.org). We look forward to seeing you there!

The following are exhibiting this year:
Angela Carter - Milland Pottery,
Hilary Charlesworth – Weaver,
Anna Moller - Sussex Nature
Glen Wellstead - Rag Rugs,
Carolyn Wallis - Woven silk scarves,
Nancy Shafee - Bas relief casts,
Harry Butler - Wood turner,
