CHARITY THEFT - Beth (19th Sep 2017 - 13:13:13) How disappointing that at 10.30 yesterday morning a man walked into Marion's Hairdressers on The Square and helped themselves to a staff tip jar, and to the McMillan collection box on the counter, depriving much needed people of over £150. Disappointing because Liphook is a better place than this. A lot of people had already worked hard to raise this money for the coffee morning. If you are the person responsible, please have the good grace to return this. If on the other hand you know who is involved, please contact Hampshire Police who are currrently working on CCTV images. Marion will still be holding her coffee morning on 29th September for anyone who would to bake, donate or like to visit. To offer help please contact 075544 31525

Re: CHARITY THEFT - Vera (19th Sep 2017 - 16:00:11) The same guy cycled into the Methodist Church car park on Monday at 10:15. He stood his bike next to the wall and went up to a car, checked if it was unlocked and then went to another. I had a session in the church and went out to enquire if I could help. He said he was looking for "Liphook" and "where can I park my bike". I told him that this was Liphook and he quickly jumped on his bike and cycled off to the square. Well done for getting a picture though. I agree, Liphook is better than that.
