computer help..please

Hi, I get to my emails through Outlook 2016 icon. It is now telling me that my subscription has expired. and I should either enter key(this is in a blue box) I have a product key?? or In a white box it says sign in then add this to an active computer account. I'm so afraid of doing the wrong thing, can anyone of you clever people help me please
