Carnival - Claire (29th Aug 2017 - 21:56:36) Carnival is looming!! Never got involved before but think we are going to make the effort this year. I've always enjoyed seeing everyone else's entries. Keeping it simple and using a pick up truck. I had been trying to find out who the cycling smurfs were on the LIBDA ride as hey would look brilliant in the procession - if anyone knows who they are please encourage them to get a posse of smurfs together to ride!! Pity the carnival face book page is not more active, nothing on there since Feb this year, they are missing out on lots of "likes n shares"

Its easy to enter a float or a push and pull in the parade you just turn up on the night in Longmoor road and we will come and register you! Cannot wait to see yours and all the other floats and please anyone reading this that fancies joining the parade please do follow Claire's lead and come get involved the more the merrier and we can make a really nice parade for everyone in the village to enjoy !! We would love to see the cycling smurfs too if you're reading !! On another note we have a couple of fund raising events coming up to raise money to put the carnival on...the first being a quiz night this Friday 1st September at the church centre its £12 a ticket and includes sausage and mash and pudding, there will be a bar and raffle too !! Tickets still available and on sale from the Beauti Pod ( salon next to countrywide store at liphook station) if you are free please do come along to support the carnival we would love to see you there !
