Gardening poser!

For many I have grown runner beans without a problem - but what on earth has happened this year? Quite a decent crop but many have reached over 16 inches in length and many have gone really curly. No problem with taste but bit of a menace trying to slice them! Is the weather we've had this year been the cause?

As a result of Brexit we don't need to worry about curly fruit and veg now!!
However on a serious note according to Monty Don it is down to irregular watering, by God or gardener!
