Radford Park Tree Felling 2:30AM Today

Did anyone else hear the trees being felled at 2:30AM today, I back on to the park and herd the trees being cut down with a chainsaw, had a quick look out and the noticed people with spotlights. I called the police but not heard if they done anything.
I guess one of two things, either a tree fell on one of the power lines that run through the park or people are after cheap wood to sell on.

it was a tree on power cables
