Radford Park? - dcb (22nd Aug 2017 - 11:54:02) There would appear to have been surveyors in Radford Park yesterday! Anyone know why?

Re: Radford Park? - Elizabeth (22nd Aug 2017 - 22:20:07) Hi, My daughter saw them in the park one day and then I saw them later by the Canadian flag by the bridge on London Road so asked them what they were doing! They were surveying the length of the river for quite some way to determine the width/height and any obstacles in the way. They were going to submit their findings to the Environment Agency. Apparently, it was to do with the possibility of flooding. When I spoke to them they were measuring how much water could pass under the small bridge. I was particularly concerned as everything seems to have gone quiet from Green Construct who own the land there and are proposing to build on it although I've not seen any more about it for a while. Wondered if they were somehow behind it.
