Coins to notes

Does anyone know please if either the Post Office or Lloyd's Bank will change coins to notes without a charge for a non customer?

Know Lloyds won't I tried to change £20 to £1 coins for a craft fair fior change - don't know about post office may if bagged?

I have the same problem, but HSBC at Petersfield will, which is what I do.

what amount do you need to change, i use lots, would save me going to the bank

The Post Office wouldn't change notes to coins when I asked or less I held an account with them.

I have an account at Lloyds and what they ask is for the 'old' £ coins to be payed into my account and then you can ask the 'hole in the wall' to pay you back that way in notes. Isn't technology wonderful!
