Epson printer problem

For some reason my Epson printer 235 series is denying my attempts to replace ink cartridges. I follow the instructions to the letter - as far as I am aware - but small flashing red light has appeared and I can find no mention of it in the Epson paperwork I have. I've replaced cartridges on this printer a number of times without a problem so what might have happened? Any help would be appreciated - but I'm not very clever with technical talk!

Epson printers have a pad that soaks up the ink used in headcleaning. After a while these get saturated and need replacing. But Epson also seem to have a limit on the number of times this can be done and anyway I think you need to enter a code to tell the printer it has been sorted out and can work again. I may be wrong, I'm basing this on my 550 printer (Seahorse inks so you know how old that was !).
So .... you need to talk to someone like Synstar in Rake 01730 233350. I used to go to a place on the Bordon IE but they've moved.
Hope this helps - you never got these problems with quill pens.

Synstar installed my printer and it was hugely expensive. Mine is still not working. I cannot understand tech speak either, so waiting for my grandson to work his magic. Would be good though to know someone locally who also has the know how. Not averse to payment, but not their prices...
