Short haired black cat has been visiting our house for over a year now. Until micro chip cat flap installed , he or she ate our cats food.
Have always been concerned if the cat has an owner. No collar.
Alarmed this morning to see this bedraggled thin cat with clumps of hair missing pass my front door.
We live in the Avenue area of Liphook. Does anyone know anything about this cat?

Just bringing this to the top. Hate to think about this poor cat.

Any chance you could take this cat to the vet to see if it has been chipped? I don't think there is a charge. Possibly it has been relying on your cat's food.

Would you be able to take this poor cat the Cats Protection Haslemere. I volunteer there on the charity side and they are a wonderful organisation and I am sure would be pleased to help. Alternatively please text me on 07753634089 and I would be happy to help get him/her there. They have a vet who visits the premises once a week so I am sure the cat could be checked for a microchip.

I will try my best to get hold of the cat. Unfortunately he runs away as soon as I try to approach him. Have not seen him today.
Thanks for replies. Intend to do all of the things suggested. Really hoping someone might know whom this cat belongs to.
