Green dragon after sale service,, shocking attitude !!!!

If you decide to run an open tab at the green dragon, Liphook, beware leaving a card behind the bar, I made that mistake to my cost last night when on coming to pay the landlord gave my card to another customer who swiped my card to pay his tab then left the pub with my card !! I've spent all afternoon on the phone to the bank, had to cancel my card, & to top it off the landlord, liphooks answer to basil fawlty, refused to reimburse me, questioning my honesty !! The Fool couldn't run a bath !

Sorry to read about your plight, I hope you have got things sorted. When the other person swiped your card to pay their bill did they not have to enter a pin code on the pubs card machine?

If it was used contactlessly for less than 30 pounds no pin number is needed.

Hi Helen, yes I did think also of the contactless method of payment. As this requires a tap on a machine and not a swipe action why did this happen?
