it most certainly is active as the points on my licence will testify
the school there is part of the reason, but the chance of going in to the 30 in Fernhurst too fast after the hill is the other
there is a hand held camera used on the northbound side of the road outside the school occasionally as well

This camera is very much alive. I know of a few people who have been caught, including my wife!

I know it was active this time last year as a colleague got caught. I don't know if it's still the case, but why risk it?
