Student Finance - is it just me? - James (18th Jun 2017 - 16:37:22) I admit, I've been putting it off, perhaps because of the previous two years' experience, but today I decided I would sort it out. I had received an email saying that my son had applied for a loan for 2017/18 and I am required to submit my financial information. Logging in to the SFE website should be the easy bit but if your 'secret answer' has eleven letters what should you do when it asks you for the twelfth letter? After resetting the login info I finally got in. I clicked a link to submit the info and was taken to a page that says my son 'is applying for a loan for the year 2014/15'. That threw me, but out of curiosity I clicked 'Start' anyway. And there the journey ended - 'Page not found'. I went back to the beginning and tried again, but always the same result. There appears to be no way around this nonsense so I just filled in the feedback form, gave all the details, and hope someone will fix it and let me know. I would like to hear that someone out there found the whole thing ran like clockwork, but I won't hold my breath.

Re: Student Finance - is it just me? - Elizabeth (18th Jun 2017 - 22:16:45) Hi, Just to let you know the website does have problems now and again. We have done ours for this year. My husband's worked well first time, I think when I did it, I had to log on a couple of times. I work at a college and have had several parents ringing in for information and so I know it is happening. Hopefully, the feedback should get a response.
