Liphook Summer Fair
- Feeling Summery! (10th Jun 2017 - 20:43:42)

Does anyone know how we would go about organising a summer fair for Liphook next year?
I went to Rogate fair today and would love for us to have something similar to look forward to next year!
I've emailed Bramshott and Liphook parish council.
Would anyone else be interested?

You will need a huge amount of community spirit and goodwill.

Based on many of the previous posts on talkback directed at those who organise the Liphook Carnival you will also need a thick skin! The local community is full of those who will criticise but will do nothing to contribute, good luck. (sorry for being such a cynical misery)

Thank you all for your replies.
Having lived in Liphook for nearly 30 years, and seeing the sad demise of the Carnival year on year, I know it will take a lot of hard work and village spirit to get it off the ground!
I just think it would be lovely to have something to look forward to each summer!
I will keep you updated :-)

I think it is a lovely idea, we need to have more family orientated, community events in the village.
I'd be happy to help.
