Yep, I saw it over Longmoor Road near Bohunt. Awesome sight.

I have seen it circling on most of the hot days recently. My garden looks out to the west and I think it is circling for lunch over the ranges. There are also a pair of buzzards with young some days.

Wow! What a treat... Driving to work this morning along Longmoor Road I spotted said kite. Then again flying over Sainsbury's this afternoon. It seems to like us. Why so close to humans though? Hunting for food to feed young hopefully.

The kites were reintroduced into Buckinghamshire several years ago and are thriving. Many up there have taken to feeding them in their back gardens, which not only helps them survive but also gives a spectacular display as they swoop into the garden with their 1 metre wing spans. Those of a nervous disposition should not try this, as several can arrive at once but they are wonderful birds. Lets hope they are here to stay, as they spread out from their original bases.
