Speeding through The Square - Sue D (1st Jun 2017 - 15:28:06) To the blonde woman in the cream Mini Clubman speeding through The Square at 3.00 pm this afternoon and turning left into Longmoor Road - you were travelling so fast you were totally oblivious to me being part way over the zebra crossing!! Please have more respect for the safety of pedestrians and other road users when travelling through our village.

On a serious note, I can't stand people who speed. If Hampshire police had a shortfall in their funds then a mobile speed monitoring van parked up would soon plug all their shortfalls. I fully acknowledge that this is not the idea of these vans before anyone says anything.

Re: Speeding through The Square - Dawn Hoskins (2nd Jun 2017 - 18:58:12) If only the money went to the Police. That's what would happen in an ideal world as it would encourage the police to actually catch speeders who are driving dangerously.
