Liphook Charity Bike Ride
- James Jack (31st May 2017 - 06:31:27)

The Royal British Legion Sub Branch will proudly be supporting and participating in the Liphook Charity Cycle Ride on Sunday 11 June.

For the first time in many years the branch will be entering a team of 7 ; consisting of veterans serving soldiers and the 11 year old son of one of the members who will be completing the 25 mile ride on WW2 vintage cycles with only one gear.

All monies raised will be donated to this year's Poppy Appeal which supports our veterans, serving British Armed Forces personnel and their families to live on in a more secure future. If you would like to donate please do so at the following Just Giving Page justgiving.com/fundraising/John Boyd-Boyd2

If anyone is interested in becoming a member of the Royal British Legion and joining the local branch please contact Lt Col Jamie Jack at james1911jack@gmail.com.

Finally our next event is on Wednesday 28 June 1030hrs at St Mary's Church Bramshott for the annual Canada Day Commemoration Service which members of the public are welcome to attend.
